Dear President Obama

オバマ大統領へ

Thank you so much for speaking out for the Tibetans when you met the China's premier for a first time at the G20 .

G２０であなたが中国の代表と初めて会談した際に、チベットについて言及してくださってありがとうございます。
You have shown us that you clearly care about the democracy and the Human Rights for the Tibetans even under the current economic climate when many seem putting the financial gain above human rights .
この経済危機の中で金融の利益を人権よりも優先する者が多い中、あなたはチベット人の民権と人権を大切に思っていることを、私たちに明らかに示してくれました。

Today, I have very important and urgent matter to ask you , Mr president .
It is about this 5 Tibetans who are sentenced to death in China .
大統領、今日は非常に重要で緊急を要するお願いがあります。
それは５人の死刑を宣告されたチベット人についてです。
I understand that Lobsang Gyaltsen and Loyak have been sentenced to
death without a reprieve, and I am calling for an immediate stay of
execution and an independent inquiry into their cases.

私は、猶予なしの死刑判決を受けた洛桑堅才(Lobsang Gyaltsen) と落牙 (Loyak) について、即時の執行停止と各事件に関する独自の再調査とを求めます。

I am gravely concerned for Tenzin Phuntsok and Kangtsuk who have also been sentenced to death with a two-year reprieve, and for Dawa Sangpo who has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
These individuals were denied their basic legal rights, and the trials
were not conducted in accordance with international judicial
standards.

同時に、死刑まで2年間の猶予が与えられた旦増平措 (Tenzin Phuntsok) と剛組 (Kangtsuk)、終身刑を言い渡された达瓦桑布(達瓦桑布)(Dawa Sangpo) について、処遇を深く憂慮しています。
彼等は国際刑法に基づいた裁判に於ける基本的権利も与えられず判決を受けました。

The Chinese government has responded to last year's protests with
extreme violence, and these harsh sentences are a blatant attempt to
further intimidate Tibetans from speaking out against Chinese rule.
I ask you to call on the Chinese government to immediately halt these executions and reverse these unjust sentences also to demand immediate access to Chinese courts in Tibet for your consular staff based in Beijing as well as the re-opening of Tibet to the international media.

昨年のラサでの騒乱に対して中国政府は極端な暴力で応じました。これらの判決も政府の方針に異議を唱えるチベット人へのあからさまな脅迫です。
中国政府がいますぐ執行を停止し、この不当判決を撤回するよう、求めてください。
そして、また、北京総領事を通して、中国人民法院への即時介入と、同時に国際メディアの即時入国(チベット)を求める要求をお願いします。

I urge you to take strong action to condemn this travesty of justice.

この不当な裁判を糾弾するために、なにとぞ強い行動をとってくださるように求めます。

Mr President , We can not let these men executed !
